The Connecticut Insurance and Financial Services Cluster has partnered with the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, the state community college system, and The WorkPlace, Inc. to create the IFS Center for Educational Excellence.
What is the IFS Center for Educational Excellence?
The IFS Center is a workforce initiative developed by Connecticut's insurance and financial services businesses to help address both the industry's short and long term workforce needs. Its purpose is to provide the skills-training required for individuals to enter into and advance within the industry specifically for high-growth occupations such as financial managers & analysts, financial sales agents, accountants & auditors, underwriting and actuaries.
All training is provided at no-cost to eligible Connecticut employees and dislocated workers. For additional information, please contact:
